ScreenshotEdits is a macOS application for editing screenshots. It runs locally on your Mac. When you download it, you get every feature for free.

The free version adds a small watermark to exported images. That's the only limitation.

The free version includes all editing tools, all backgrounds, all export options. Use it as long as you want. There is no trial period, no feature gating, and no expiration date.

Exported images include a small "Made with ScreenshotEdits" watermark. The watermark is visible but intentionally subtle.

The Pro license costs €19. It's a one-time payment. Not a subscription, not an annual renewal. You pay once and use the app forever.

The license removes the watermark from all exports. It also includes lifetime updates — every new feature, every improvement, at no additional cost.

Each license is for a single user. You can activate it on multiple Macs that you personally use, but sharing the license key with other people isn't allowed.

There's a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the app doesn't work for you, email hello@nielskaspers.com within 30 days of purchase and you'll get a full refund. No forms, no hoops.

Refunds are processed through LemonSqueezy, our payment provider. It typically takes 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Your screenshots are yours. Always. ScreenshotEdits doesn't claim any rights to images you create, edit, or export using the app. You own your work completely.

The ScreenshotEdits application, its code, design, and branding belong to us. The license gives you the right to use the software — not to redistribute, reverse-engineer, or resell it.

The app is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it stable and bug-free, but we can't guarantee it will work perfectly in every situation on every Mac configuration. We're not liable for any damages resulting from using the app.

We don't guarantee specific output quality. Results depend on your input images, your Mac's capabilities, and how you use the tools.

We plan to keep developing ScreenshotEdits for the foreseeable future. But we can't promise the app will be available or updated indefinitely. If we ever discontinue the app, existing licenses remain valid — the version you have keeps working.

macOS updates sometimes break things. We'll do our best to stay compatible with new macOS releases, but there may be short gaps between an OS update and our compatibility fix.

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.

For anything significant — like changes to pricing, licensing, or your rights — we'll make it clear what changed.
